    On December 8^th 1954
the original 1,000 sq. foot
Deterding’s food market
had its grand opening in Lindenwold NJ on this location.

In 1956 the Deterding family
expanded the store to 4,000 sq. foot.
It stayed this size until 1978

In 1977 construction began
on a brand new 16,000 sq. foot building.
Our Grand Opening was August 1^st 1978.
